Libraries offer free literacy programming for babies, toddlers, and pre-K-aged children as well as for students in elementary, middle, and high school grades. Some programming is built around other skill sets, such as music, science, and history. All children’s literacy programming is standards-based and designed promote literacy skills and education success using language, music, history, and science themes.

The Educational Development Account is a program offered to parents of 21st Century Scholars. It is a special match savings account in which parents can use for post-secondary educational expenses. Participant's savings are matched 2:1 and up to $5,000 dollars can be earned over a 3 year period. Encouraging parents to pursue higher levels of education in turn encourages their children to do the same.

| Educational Advocacy
Individual volunteers advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in Delaware County, including educational advocacy. If the youth is age appropriate, the volunteers will encourage the youth to explore post-secondary educational opitons as well as advocate in court for the youth to receive services that may help them in their endeavors. Additionally, CASA volunteers may be trained as educational surrogates for children that do not have parental involvement. An educational surrogacy training class will be scheduled TBD.

FAFSA Work sessions will be conducted at Muncie Central and Muncie Southside for seniors during the school day.
